Phoenix Fun!

Brian and I bought a timeshare in Phoenix pre-kids (yes, we are suckers and always fall for sales pitches!). The timeshare property was still under construction when we bought it, so we have always traded our 'week' to go somewhere else every year. Now that Wes is done with bottles and out of diapers, we decided to take a true family vacation and go to our timeshare in Phoenix! Despite it taking nearly 6 hours to get there (we were stuck on the runway IN the airplane in Houston for almost 3 hours before we ever took off for Phoenix), we had a blast! The resort had splash pool for kids, big pools, slides, a lazy river, playgrounds, etc! We also went to the Railroad Park in Phoenix to take a break from all of our swimming! In reality, we have a yard guy, so Brian never actually mows the yard! Wes was so excited when Daddy got out the mower and started using it! He couldn't get his little mower fast enough! He loves being just like Dad!

Happy Birthday Blaike!!!

I know, I know... I'm the world's worst blogger!!! Nevertheless, I thought I'd at least try to catch up.... Can you believe that my little girl turned 5 on April 4th?!?! I can't!! Boy they grow up fast! She had a great birthday, and despite a little 'drama', we had a great time at Jump N Jungle for her party! :)

Austin

O.K., so I’m a tad behind on my blogging!!! We’ve been really busy since my last entry, so I will try to catch up over the next few days! I guess for now, I will start with our trip to Austin. At the end of February we headed to Austin for Stacie’s baby shower! Eric and Stacie are expecting baby Hayden in early June! We are so excited for them and can’t wait for her arrival! While I was at the baby shower, Blaike went to the Texas women’s basketball game with Kayla and her Brownie troop! It was Girl Scout’s day at the basketball game! Blaike had a blast with Kayla and her friends! Thanks, Jana and Jeff, for taking her with y’all! Dad and Wes rested while the girls were busy, and then we all went to see Grandma, Grandpa, Darryl, Leslie, & Kyle at the Baucum’s new home! It’s beautiful! Wes and Kyle have so much fun playing together! We had a great weekend and had so much fun seeing everyone!

Happy Birthday Great Paw Paw!

Me Me and Paw Paw came up this weekend to celebrate Great Paw Paw’s Birthday! He turned 86 on Saturday! We had a nice time visiting together at lunch! Happy Birthday Great Paw Paw!!! We hope you have many more wonderful birthdays!!!

Just had to post this pic of the kids, too. They are now totally into Madagascar (I know, Madagascar-2 is already out, but it takes us a little while to catch on to things!)! Blaike brought all of her babies and animals downstairs and lined them up on the couch to “watch” Madagascar! As you can see, Wes loves ‘Lisa’ the most, and couldn’t take his eyes off the movie to take a picture!
